Developing Entrepreneurial Skills among Tribal Women

The book “Developing Entrepreneurial Skills among Tribal Women” serves as a practical and conceptual reference guide for stakeholders working in the fields of women's empowerment, social entrepreneurship, and tribal development. The book is a one-stop solution for those who are interested in working with tribal communities especially the women from Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs). In this book, the authors have tried to cover all the essential skills required for the development of entrepreneurial qualities. It provides a simple but structured framework of intervention that may build competencies related to various domains of entrepreneurial skills including soft skills, managerial skills, technical skills, networking, and marketing skills etc.

Shubham Kumar is a Research Scholar in the Department of Social Work at the Central University of Rajasthan, Ajmer, since 2024. In his previous role, he led the NGO Mission Muskurahat, dedicated to women’s empowerment, social entrepreneurship, education, health, environmental sustainability, and the upliftment of underprivileged communities.


Dr. Shaizy Ahmed is a dedicated academician and social worker, presently serving as Associate Professor in the Department of Social Work, Central University of Rajasthan, Ajmer. A Gold Medallist from Aligarh Muslim University, she brings valuable experience from her previous associations with Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, and Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla.
